Security at WarrantyVault
How WarrantyVault protects your account and data — encryption in transit, row-level access controls, short-lived signed URLs, and responsible disclosure.
This page is maintained by WarrantyVault to answer common security and privacy questions about the product. It describes app-visible controls and is not an independent certification.
All traffic between your browser and WarrantyVault is served over HTTPS.
Every table enforces row-level access so users can only read and modify their own records.
Uploaded receipts and documents are served through short-lived signed URLs, minted at read time.
Premium features and product limits are enforced on the server, not just in the UI.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you've found a security issue, please email security@warrantyvault.org. Include steps to reproduce and give us a reasonable window to respond before public disclosure.
Account safety tips
- Use a strong, unique password.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Contact support if you notice unfamiliar activity.
